There will be no shortage of medicines for any patient: The Supreme Court of Madhya Pradesh has ordered the government to ensure that patients with black fungus receive amphotericin B treatment as soon as possible. The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ordered the state government to guarantee that Amphotericin B and other medications be administered to Black fungus patients in the state on a timely basis, emphasizing that no patient should go without treatment. A bench of Chief Justice Mohammad Rafiq and Justice Vijay Kumar Shukla further ordered the Additional Chief Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Government's Department of Medical and Health to record the precise number of patients with black and white fungus, or any other comparable condition, in the state.

The Court stated that the medications must be prescribed to patients by treating doctors not just in Jabalpur, but also in hospitals throughout the state, including Gwalior, Indore, Bhopal, and other towns. The order was issued after Senior Advocate Naman Nagrath, who was joined by Advocate Jubin Prasad as amicus curiae, informed the Court that family members of more than 50 black fungus patients admitted to the Government Hospital in Jabalpur had gheraoed government officials because they were not provided with Amphotericin – B medicine, putting the patients' lives in jeopardy. The development occurred after the State Government filed the 11th Action Taken Report in response to the earlier ruling, which highlighted a number of concerns related to the state's covid-19 situation. According to the report, out of 188 oxygen generating facilities, 61 have already been commissioned, and the concerned agency has supplied equipment for 13 additional plants, with the installation process underway. It was also reported that the remaining plants will be built by September 30, 2021, according to the State Government's estimate. Furthermore, C.T. Scan Machines were operational in 14 of the State's 52 district hospitals, and measures were initiated to establish CT Scan Machines in the other districts, according to the Bench.

According to the vaccine supplies thus far obtained, the State expects to be able to inoculate the full 18+ population with the first dosage by the end of September 2021. It was also claimed that, as a result of the government's focused and concentrated efforts, a full vaccination cover will be delivered to the whole population aged 18 and above by the end of December 2021. On September 6, the case will be examined again.
