A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court hinted that the physical hearings might resume in the High Court roughly after two weeks. While the Bench heard matters virtually, there were comments about the recent protests by High Court Lawyers against the delay in the commencement of regular physical hearings and the filing of cases. There were remarks made by lawyers who argued against the virtual court system as the High Court lawyers were not assigned any work from lawyers who were situated outside the location of the High Court it outside the district of Ernakulam.

However, an official statement is yet to be released by the Kerala High Court regarding the said matter. A meeting was summoned wherein numerous advocate's associations and various parties where they suggested the restoration of the regular sitting at the court. The Kerala High Court Advocates' Association had written to the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court to resume physical hearings at the High Court as well as all the subordinate courts in the state of Kerala from the 1st of November of 2021.

Yesterday, The 1st of November the Kerala High Court Advocates' Association had organized a protest meeting against delay in the physical hearings of the High Court and the Subordinate Courts of the State. Several lawyers wore protest badges to support the movement. The KHCAA has passed an official order to inform the members of its association that the commencement of physical hearings and postings will be effective on any day between November 8 to November 15.

With regards to the Pandemic, The High Court administration has strictly ordered that any person who is to be entered in the High Court must be vaccinated against the disease. [Both Doses] The Association would also be issuing passes to the members ensuring their vaccination.
