The high court in Allahabad recently noted that, after the insult, when someone in the majority community turns his religion into a weak country, he stresses that there is no place for religious fancy, avarice or fear in our society. At the outset, the Court stated that any adult national in the country has the right to transform his or her religion and to marry any adult citizen and that the law in this respect has no barrier at all. The Court remarked further: "With regard to our Indian constitution, everyone has a right to liberty. Sometimes individuals do not become another religion because of fear or money, but because of their shame because they feel that in other religions they would be respected. This has no damage, and all citizens have the right to live with dignity under the Indian Constitution.
When an individual has no respect and is forgotten in his/her own house, he/she quits the house." Significantly, the Court additionally held the following opinion: "As the history of past indicates, the nation was conquered and we became a slave when we (the people of India) were separated. A notable example of this is Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the indigenous constitution builder who has experienced much early humiliation, therefore he has switched his faith." The Court further noted that the victim had stated in the present instance that the applicant/accused claimed that he was also related to other females and had to sign it on plain paper and other papers were in Urdu and that she did not know how to read Urdu. Justice Yadav denied him bail and observed that: the prosecution's submission: "...the applicant/accused is not entitled to the release and maybe refused the bail application. Unless it is done, these religious contractors would strengthen themselves, who erroneously convert poor and women by causing them fear and temptation. Many similar examples are currently shown on TV and in newspapers where women are indoctrinated, impoverished, defenseless, stupid, deaf, etc. The worst thing to do is to promote and finance such people from overseas, merely to debilitate the country."
