The judgement was issued on Tuesday by a bench of Justices Ravi Shanker Jha and Arun Palli in a suo-motu case filed to monitor court accessibility and other concerns during the COVID-19 epidemic. After Amicus Curiae, Senior Advocate Anupam Gupta's representations on the COVID-19 issue, the verdict was made. “Learned Amicus Curiae has presented to this Court certain material highlighting the current situation in India as well as other countries due to the pandemic (COVID-19), which is germane to the issues that are being examined and also whether the interim arrangements/orders made by this Court need to be continued,” the Court noted. In light of this, the Court's April 28 interim order, which was later explained on August 20, was instructed to be maintained. On September 15, the subject will be discussed again.
