Kayastha Samaj of Lucknow, Noida and Faridabad organized a seminar and demonstration on keeping Kayasthas in OBC. The resistance of the Kayasthas against the placement of Kayasthas in OBC by the Backward Commission of the UP government has started coming to the surface from social media. In this sequence, the people of the Kayastha community organized demonstrations and meetings in the state capital Lucknow and financial capital Noida, in which the thinking of keeping Kayasthas in OBC reservation by the Uttar Pradesh government was condemned.

In Lucknow, Mr. Ratnesh Srivastava appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to keep the Kayastha community in the general category, while Mr. Nitish Raj Srivastava warned the government that the Kayastha community would not compromise on its self-respect. Ashu Bhatnagar, the managing editor of Kayastha Khabar, said in a program held in Noida that the government's thinking of keeping Kayasthas in OBC reservation is like dumping the society in the pit and we do not agree with this decision of the government. Kayastha majorly votes to BJP. Naveen Srivastava, who came to the meeting, talked to the Kayasthas to be united against this matter. In the same sequence, Mr. Ambuj Saxena and senior journalist Mr. Atul Kumar Srivastava also joined the meetings and opposed the same. In Faridabad also, Mr. Ram Manohar Srivastava with his team organized a meeting with maintaining Covid protocols

Describing Kayastha Samaj as the pivot of Sarva Samaj, Kayastha journalist Anil Srivastava said that for centuries, the Kayastha community has fought for the prestige of Hinduism, in such a situation, it will not back down even for its honor. The program was successfully coordinated by Saurabh Srivastava in Lucknow said that soon the resistance to the proposal to keep Kayastha society in OBC will intensify both on social media and on the ground.
