The Delhi High Court on Thursday allowed bail to a man faking to be an officer of the National Intelligence Agency to swindle a lady of her cash. Anu Malhotra, the justice prevailing the proceeding permitted the candidate to be delivered on bail subject to outfitting a bail obligation of 50,000 with two guarantees of the like sum.

The charged candidate had purportedly imitated an NIA official and incited the complainant to provide him with an amount of 10,000 on the affection of aiding her in a marital question. Consequently, the candidate requested 2 lakhs more from the lady, who became dubious after the new demand. At this point when she requested that the candidate return her cash, he purportedly took steps to ensnare her in a fake case.

When the complainant asked about the candidate from the NIA office, she observed that there was no such individual working with the NIA. A first investigation report (FIR) was accordingly stopped against the candidate and another person who arranged a phoney NIA character card for him, after which the pair were captured. He hence moved toward the Delhi High Court for bail.

The candidate mentioned grounds for bail that he had been in custody since June this year, and the co-blamed had as of now been allowed bail. He further argued that his better half is crippled. He informed the Court that he had as of now returned the amount of 10,000 which he had taken from the complainant.

Considering the abovementioned, the Court permitted his bail application on the accompanying conditions:

• He will by no means leave the country;

• He will show up under the steady gaze of the learned preliminary Court as and when coordinated;

• He will keep his cell phone on at every one of the occasions;

• He will drop a pin on the Google map so his area is accessible to the Investigating Officer.
